A step towards closer cooperation in space!
On May 18, 2022, the State Space Agency of Ukraine hosted a follow-up working meeting between officials of Ukraine’s Space Agency, Polish Space Agency and THETA R&D Institute.
Chairman Volodymyr Taftay from the State Space Agency of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman Michał Wierciński from Polish Space Agency and THETA Director Ruslan Golubtsov participated in the gathering.
The key outcome of the meeting was signing a four-party Memorandum on cooperation between the space agencies of Ukraine and Poland, THETA R&D Institute, and Rzeszów University of Technology (Politechnika Rzeszowska im. Ignacego Łukasiewicza).
The Memorandum seeks to define conditions for building partnership relations, expand capacities for R&D works and enable access to resources all for realizing space technology projects.
In addition to that, the Memorandum provides for establishing an R&D center in Poland and attracting international experts with whom to develop and implement scientific and research space projects.
