On March 3, 2022, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Volodymyr Taftay, Vice President of the Polish Space Agency Michał Wierсiński and the Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyy. Lyubomyr Sabadosh, a member of the Scientific and Technical Council of THETA Institute and former Chairman of Ukraine’s Space Agency, actively advocates the intensification of cooperation with Poland in the aerospace sector, initiates and promotes projects that can be implemented by companies and research organizations of the two countries.

The State Space Agency of Ukraine aims to create an ecosystem between Rzeszów - Lviv and Warsaw - Kyiv and create a coordination center for joint projects, which will operate on the basis of Lviv Regional Administration.

THETA Institute has a profound experience to contribute to the work of such a center and deploy existing potential in the city and region for successful implementation of Ukrainian-Polish space initiatives.
